Some icy facts: Last year, on December 10th, the coldest temperature was recorded in Antarctica. It reached -92 ͦ! Another interesting thing about this place is that the snow can fall so heavily that you won’t be able to see your hands in front of you. This wall of snow can even make you feel sick! Can you imagine yourself there, standing and looking at the enormous number of snowflakes? By the way, the largest snowflakes were seen in 1887 in Montana. They measured 38 cm across and 20 cm thick!
