Unlike the moons of other planets in the solar system, who have their names derived from Greek and Roman mythology, the moons of Uranus are named after characters from Shakespeare's plays. Ten of the 27 known moons got their names from ‘The Tempest’, including Prospero, Miranda, Caliban and Sycorax.
