The success rate for passing the civics test is high: about 91% of applicants are able to correctly answer six or more of the 10 questions to pass. However, this is considering only those who are actively preparing for and trying to pass the test on their path to naturalized citizenship. Studies indicate that the majority of native-born Americans would fail the civics test.
